**Juicy Gems: Small Square Watercolors with Peg Sheridan**

Join us for an exciting day of creative exploration as we experiment with seasonal subjects like fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Participants will learn to compose at least three small (5.5X5.5) still life paintings in a square format, beginning with a wet-in-wet watercolor technique. The workshop will guide you in creating a dynamic piece where some elements remain out of focus while others are more detailed. You will also learn how to incorporate highlights, shadows, and cast shadows to enhance the forms of your subjects. Additionally, you can use soft pastels, watercolor crayons, watercolor pencils, or ink to add vibrancy to your artwork.

Each student will leave with three colorful paintings (mostly completed, depending on your pace) and a mat, perfect for gifting or as preparatory work for a 6X6 art competition.
