We’ll be hosting the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the VA250 Mobile Museum celebrating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, the Virginia Museum of Natural History, the Library of Virginia, and the Office on Youth’s Community in Motion bus. Guided Street Arts Tours! The Waynesboro Public Library will be hosting guided street art tours on Saturday, May 16. Register for the 10:00 am or 12:00 pm tour, spots fill up fast! Rosenwald and Port Republic Road Historical District Open House Block Party with Waynesboro Parks and Recreation! Community Art Projects! Make your own art! The Waynesboro Rotary Club, Waynesboro Parks and Recreation, Destination Downtown Waynesboro, and MORE will be offering community art projects for no cost/donations! Decorate your own t-shirt! This fundraiser to help support the Virginia Street Arts Festival and sponsored by Initial Inspiration, is a pay-what-you-will with a suggested donation of $10 that includes a Virginia Street Arts Festival T-shirt and all the supplies you need to make your own awesome memory! Vision Art Explosion! Main Street United Methodist will be hosting a full weekend of art fun including a giant bubble station, creating your own story and illustrations, thumbprint art, home made greeting cards, rock painting, a stained glass window tour and more! Decorate your own book jacket at Stone Soup Books! Bring your own book or decorate a prewrapped book and use the clues to guess what the title of the book is! The no-cost activity includes all craft supplies needed! Join Danny Rose, also known as Doctor Rock, a stone balancing meditation artist, to practice hands on instruction and guidance through active meditation. We welcome to meet Doctor Rock on a journey of self discovery, where the gentle art of stone balancing reveals the secrets of life and inspires a deeper connection with the natural world. This is a no cost activity! Have your caricature done at The Waynesboro Heritage Museum during the Virginia Street Arts Festival! This activity is free, but tips are appreciated!
